TREASURES AND COUNTRYSIDE ALONG THE WESTERN KING’S ROAD FROM HELSINKI TO TURKU

Helsinki - Lohja - Siuntio - Fiskars - Turku

Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 and price

DAY 1

Arrival in Helsinki with Silja Line. Silja Line
is the best alternative for a summer vacation
trip, whether you’re planning to drive
from European destinations along the King’s
Road or take a cruise on the Baltic. Silja Line
is the only shipping company that has three
different routes to Europe.

Gustavus Wasa, king of Sweden and Finland,
founded Helsinki in 1550. The magnificent
sea fortress of Suomenlinna, listed as a
world heritage site by Unesco, is a reminder
of the time when Sweden was one the
Great Powers in Europe. There are several
cafés, museums and art exhibitions to visit
in Suomenlinna. “Royal” sites in Helsinki
include the Senate Square, the Cathedral,
Uspensky Greek Orthodox Cathedral and the
Art Deco buildings in Katajanokka and Eira.

The next destination is Lohja area. We suggest
that you visit the winery of Ciderberg
Oy in Kirkniemi. Other sites of interest in
Lohja include the lime quarry in Tytyri, and
mediaeval church.

Accommodation at Siuntio spa.
